Famous Freddies Roadhouse, 510 Park, Fox Lake, IL

Just up the road from Dwight House, Famous Freddie's is totally different scene.  Located on Pistakee Lake, Freddie's is a biker/boater joint and is usually packed on summer weekends.  Although there are bars both inside and outside, everything happens outside in the Summer (with exception of ordering your food).  The outdoor patio has an island feel complete with bikini topped waitresses and and cabanas.  Tucked back off the road, It can be hard to find if you're not local.

Port of Blarney, 27843 W Grass Lake Rd Antioch, IL

The Port of Blarney is a decent and convenient place to stop while on a ride. They are located directly off of Grass Lake Road in Antioch, Illinois and they usually have live music on the weekends. The Port really functions, however, as a staging point for the regular ferries that run to Blarney Island which is a island bar in the middle of Grass Lake that features, among other things, boat races on Thursday evenings and all sorts of shenanigans you'd expect on an island.

Captain's Quarters, 38283 N Bolton Pl Antioch, IL 60002

Captain's is a biker/boater bar that is usually a pretty cool place to stop but their claim to fame is the Build Your Own Bikini (BYOB) contest held every August. We've seen bikinis made form everything from sheet metal to buttons to electrical tape. The gals (and, more recently guy participants) take this competition very seriously.

The Rusty Nail Saloon 4520 Ringwood Rd. Ringwood Il

Welcome to Rusty Nail Saloon in Ringwood, where friends go to gather and everyone is treated like family. We’ve become a destination for folks throughout McHenry and Lake Country who are seeking great food, good times, and a comfortable atmosphere. Located in the heart of downtown Burlington, Illinois, Mott's has been a staple of the community since 1924. This is a local joint filled with regulars and the occasional passer-through. Biker friendly, no colors allowed. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, wraps and pizza. Beware the Swamp Water.

Iron Horse Social Club, 314 Main St Savanna, IL 61074

Quite possibly one of the coolest biker joints in Illinois. Located in downtown Savanna. Illinois, the Iron Horse draws a large and eclectic biker crowd. Hawg Heaven, 10306 Antioch Rd (Rt. 83), Salem WI

Cold beer, pizza, Friday night Karaoke and cherry bombs.  Do you need anything else?  We've been here a ton of times. Good place, good people, 1%'ers every now and again.

Whistle Stop Cafe, 15 E Grand Ave, Fox Lake, IL

Opens at 6, closes at 2 and specializes in breakfast. The service is always friendly and fast and the food is always good. Perfect pre-ride spot to fuel up.

Local Folks Restaurant, 39601 60th St, Burlington, WI

We discovered this great little spot almost purely by accident. That being said, we're glad we did. The food is good, the staff if friendly and the prices are reasonable. Located near Hwy 50 and P in Burlington it's worth a stop. While you're there, swing by the working mushroom and produce farm down the street (not those kinds of mushrooms).

Manny's Snack Shack, 404 S Lake Ave, Twin Lakes, WI

There is always a line running out the front door of this fantastic little short-order. Get here early or take your chances. This is one of the best breakfast joints you'll find. If there is a line, don't give up immediately. It usually moves pretty fast.

Twin Lakes Roadhouse, 1519 Musial Rd, Twin Lakes, WI

Jay Hendrix (owner) purchased, and then completely renovated the Twin Lakes Roadhouse last year. Secluded location with a relaxed feel. Nice back yard and patio area, full kitchen and an overall great place to stop for a drink or lunch. Be sure to say "hi" to Buster, the Twin Lakes Roadhouse mascot and resident Cheetos hound.

Mad Dan's Restaurant, 200 E Main St, Twin Lakes, WI

Located in downtown Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, we stumbled across Mad Dan's on a crisp September morning ride and had have been back a few times since. Just down the road from Manny's Snack Shack, Mad Dan's features a full bar and great food.

Kickstand Bar and Grill, 9622 Camplake Rd Camp Lake, WI

A biker bar in the truest sense, The Kickstand is a no frills joint. In the summer, you will find bikers of all stripes and colors (yes, those colors frequent the Kickstand). Relax, grab a beer and enjoy live music outside in the back yard. Because they are located directly alongside train tracks, don't be surprised if an occasional freighter thunders through.

The Marina, 28836 Silver Lake Rd, Salem, WI

Not necessarily a "biker bar" you'll find that bikers are welcome. This is a great spot to relax lakeside and grab a bite or just enjoy something cold to drink.

The Dirty Hoe Saloon, 4614 Sheard Rd Kansasville, WI

Who doesn't love a little Dirty Hoe? A gray, wood plank sided building, this place is a stand alone spot in a sea of cornfields. Great atmosphere with room to hang out outside as well. If you're anywhere near Kansasville, Wisconsin, you gotta stop.

Hog's Nest Saloon, 4301 South Beaumont Ave, Kansasville WI

In between Hawg Heaven and Dead Mann's Saloon,in downtown Kansasville on Rt 75, sits the Hog's Nest Saloon.  A true dive bar in the best sense, they boast great burgers and a Friday night fish fry. Why not make a stop?

Dead Mann's Saloon 3518 South Beaumont Avenue, Kansasville WI

Dead Mann's Saloon (formerly the Wildlife Refuge) can be a blow-by if you're not sure where it is. Located at 3518 South Beaumont Avenue in Kansasville, WI, the address won't mean much if you don't know what you're looking for. Coming from the south on Il 83, stay on Rt 75 at Hwy 50. Head north past WI 11 (Durand Ave.) and then keep looking on your left.  It's a white house set back off of the road. Rumored to be a former brothel, it always brings in an eclectic mix of cool folks.

Bunker Bar, 29224 Evergreen Drive, Waterford WI

Owned by two Vietnam veterans, the building and grounds carry a strong military theme.  Hundreds of military artifacts adorn the interior and heavy hardware outside like an F-4 Phantom jet and an Apache helicopter are on display outside. Live music on some weekends and a M*A*S*H tent complete the vibe. Save your appetite for a Bunker Burger. Worth the trip.

Knucklehead Pub and Grub, 100 South Rd, Eagle, WI

We've been here a few times. The food is good but bike parking can be a challenge on a busy day. Its worth a stop for the live, outdoor music during the summer. We've had a good time whenever we've gone.

Lily Lake Resort, 7910 328th Ave, Burlington, WI
